EA has confirmed plans to remaster a number of fan-favorites in the next fiscal year which include ‘Need For Speed Underground 2’ and ‘Command & Conquer’ which is already released trough the steam platform and origin. When the date for this game is, we don’t know. There is however yet nothing more than several random “quotes” and rumors. Even, the rumors are true, it cant be always legit the proper way.
The news comes via a recent call to investors where EA revealed a host of potential franchise reboots that will excite gamers throughout the world. In the same period, EA is also planning to release two currently-unannounced projects from third-party teams, and a number of internal titles, one of which is set to be a new sporting game.
Fans of the NFS franchise will be glad to hear of the potential reboot of Underground 2 after the original was widely regarded as one of the top games of 2004 due to its superior gameplay, graphics, and the addition of “Free Roam” and infinite customization options. During the year, the number of customizations went down rapidly each time a new game was being brought out. Need for speed origin is the second on the fans’ top 3 of best NFS games as that game at least had something to do with the game its core, stunning racing, illegal with the danger of being arrested.
The game sold over 11 million copies worldwide and was universally praised by top critics on GameRankings and Metacritic.
NFS has been an extremely successful franchise since its original demo was released back in 1994 on PS1.
