Last week, we talked about the closing program mixer from Microsoft, going to Facebook with its content, and with Facebook their ways of streaming to provide gaming content and to compete against others like twitch for example. However, Microsoft is taking a step further by closing down ALL physical stores, leaving 4 buildings over for experience centers. Those locations are New York City (Fifth Ave), London (Oxford Circus), Sydney (Westfield Sydney), and the Redmond campus location.
As the big choice that’s been made by Microsoft, it partially explains why Microsoft hasn’t opened a single store after they were all closed due to the world pandemic. Last week, Microsoft has told that its redesigning its store locations. At the time of today, the company declined to offer an update on when any stores might open again.
This does not have effects on stores that do sell Microsoft content as a partner-related matter, but there is still a high chance that your own local store will close down as well for a redesign of its pathing. The Netherlands is active, running, and searching for solutions in this time of the world pandemic.
