Recently an online trailer that was leaked on Reddit by one of the fans shows off new operators for the upcoming next season of DLC for the online game Rainbow Six Siege. Rainbow Six Siege is the wildly successful latest installment to the Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six series developed by Ubisoft. It is an online multiplayer game where concentration is top-notch. It was released back in 2015 and is started to become famous for its chaotic environmental destruction in a variety of exciting game modes.
Yesterday, Ubisoft announced in a tweet that the name for the next expansion is going to be titled “Steel Wave.” Everyone is hyped and stoked about it for the upcoming DLC release. Especially when they have been nerfing a lot in the past. Luckily for Ubisoft, the trailer doesn’t reveal too much information to ruin the excitement for the full reveal.
Weird enough is that this did not happen the last time. It actually happened 2 times this year that a trailer is being leaked about updates and DLC. The leaker might have its content from the game itself. Who knows this person even works there. It is just odd that this would happen twice in a row for the same expansion year. Either Ubisoft Montreal should do some significant restructuring, or it’s a secret and deliberate attempt to gauge the fans’ reactions to the new characters.
